This time the hacker group Anonymous has turned its
attention to China. More than 500 sites have been hacked & defaced by this hactivist
group- News of BBC.
BBC said the attacked sites included government sites, its
official agencies, trade groups and many others. By this hacking they carried
out a message to Chinese government. The message was to protest against Chinese
government’s severe guard & control of its citizens.
Not only that they urged general people to join them
protesting this control over them. It because of Chinese government’s strict controls
over their citizens’ internet activities. This criticized system is named as
Great Firewall of China from many times ago in different Medias.
